American Library Association

Affiliates

Affiliate organizations of the American Library Association are groups having purpose or interests similar to those of the Association. Under Article X, Section 1, of the Constitution and upon application formally made by the proper officers, the Council has affiliated with the American Library Association the following national organizations of kindred purposes. Some of these societies meet annually at the time and place of ALA meetings. ALA recommends membership also in these organizations to those of its members for whom such connection is appropriate.

The Executive Office of the American Library Association (ALA) maintains this list of the current ALA Affiliates. In order to maintain your information please complete  the Affiliate Update Request Form. Fill in the form, save it locally, attach to an email and send it to Alicia Bastl
